We’ll be offering a hot chocolate bar, with all proceeds donated to the Storehouse Foodbank, as well as a warm, hearty stew paired with a tasting of one of our wines. Weather permitting, we’ll also have an outdoor fire where guests can get cozy by the vineyard and enjoy the atmosphere.

Wassail is an exciting time at Broken Stone Winery! We love coming together as a wine growing region to toast the vines to thank them for a wonderful growing season and to look forward to the next season of rejuvenation. Wassail also allows us to toast our wonderful friends, family and winery guests and treat them to something special. Join us for cozy indoor wine tastings.  We’ve created special Christmas themed wine flights for you to choose from. Taste and buy your favourites and share them with family, friends and colleagues over the holidays.

One of our favourite Christmas traditions is eating French Canadian tourtière. Sample a tourtière bite served with wine grape jelly. We pair the tourtière with deliciously warm and spiced mulled wine.

Sing a song (or part song) from the Wassail Carol Songbook and receive a complimentary taste of your choosing!

Take a walk on the Vineyard Discovery Trail and learn about the vine lifecycle and vineyard practices. The tour ends with feeding the sheep - sheep feed proceeds go to the Wellington Food Bank.

For gift giving ideas, we’ve put together a Holiday Charcuterie must have list. Shop for unique wines, homemade jelly and wonderful hostess gifts to curate a beautiful Charcuterie offering.

We will provide a "sing for your sample" with your choice of 1oz of Almanac White or Red.

We will also have warm apple cider available (and for purchase) by carolers who do not imbibe or are <19 years of age.

Santa will be on site and our food program will be up and running all weekend(s) long!

Wassailers (singing of course!) will be offered a complimentary cup of mulled wine.  Anyone purchasing wine will get a chance to pick from our annual Secret Santa Tree!

Annual Wishing Tree – set your wishes down on a tag to hang on our Wishing Tree. On the last Sunday, weather permitting we shall set them alight on the fire.

Enjoy a glass of wine or complimentary mulled wine or Campbell’s Orchard non-alcoholic cider on the patio by the fire - weather permitting, of course :)
